Truth Verses Lies
An Epic Struggle

January 18, 2016

It's as old as time itself and should be sufficient evidence for the existence good and evil, right versus wrong.  We are all participants whether we want to be or not. Every decision weighs in on one side or the other and every choice is also a decision one way of the other.  There is no option to abstain.

On the side of good is life and those who choose life, on the side of evil is death and all those who choose death.  God tells us in the book of Deuteronomy, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live". (King James Bible)

Yes evil people have done, and will do, evil things in the name of God.  But just because they say they’re doing God’s work doesn’t mean they’re doing what God wants.  People are often deceived and confused by the merchants of lies. But take heart, Abraham Lincoln reportedly said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time."

We are coming to a point in history where the lies of politicians and media personalities are being exposed like never before.  We are told, "well everyone lies sometime so we should just give them a break."

There is forgiveness, but there is also responsibility for our actions. We are accountable,  and must hold accountable, those whose lies and decisions tried to cover up what really happened in the attack on our people in Benghazi and the person who handled highly classified material on her  personal server.  We must hold accountable this President and his party who wrecked our healthcare system while telling us we could keep our plan and our doctor; and who’s working to bring refugees into the US who are not fully vetted and who won’t submit to The Constitution and our laws but who will work to use our generosity and our laws against us to force us to accept Sharia Law.

They spread the myth of “islamophobia” while overlooking a Muslim’s attempt to assassinate a police officer in Philadelphia in the name of ISIS; on the heels of an Islamic couple in California killing their coworkers and having a gun battle with police; and after armed Muslims go on a killing rampage in Paris.

In the meantime this administration wants to strengthen controls on gun ownership by law abiding citizens.  No armed people can be made slaves to tyrants. No people armed with the truth and willing to admit it can be tricked into being bound or gagged. The greatest challenge facing our nation is not ISIS or the national debt but Political Correctness and a lack of truthfulness. We will never solve the problems that face us if we refuse to speak the truth.
